Career Choice - Chapter 1

1. People think focus means saying yes to the thing you’ve got to focus on.  But that’s not what it means at all.  It means saying no to the hundred other good ideas that there are. You have to pick carefully.  I’m actually as proud of the things we haven’t done as the things I have done.  Innovation is saying ‘no’ to 1,000 things.
2. Deciding what not to do is as important as deciding what to do

最近面臨到一些人生的抉擇，在滿天都是金條的情況下，到底該做怎樣的選擇是很困難的決定。

選項可能為：

1. 傳統的產業領域：半導體、手機、筆電
2. 嶄新的產業領域：APP、電商、O2O、IoT、Robot

職能可能為：

1. 員工：Product Manager、Project Manager、Account Manager、Brand Management
2. 創業

我想這些選項決定標準有二：

1. 不要讓自己後悔：回首從年輕開始做決策的關鍵要素就是這點，出國前及出國時想要好好的玩，看遍世界，選擇U of M、加入MM等等
2. 搭上火箭：選擇一個能創造經濟價值的火箭
